work in progress ….
I’m currently working on a WiFi “Fred” – the size of the standard FREMO Fredi. The hardware is pretty simple when using the Arduino MKR1000 – all which is additionally needed is a rotary encoder (for loco speed), some function buttons, leds and a LiPo battery. The PCB is based on the work of Olaf Funke and others from FREMO, see http://fremodcc.sourceforge.net/diy/fred2/fredi_d.html
